On the occasion of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, the Better World Fund once again brought together committed figures from the worlds of culture, fashion, cinema, and humanitarian work for a remarkable gala dedicated to positive impact. Held in the prestigious setting of the Carlton Cannes, the 2025 edition of this international event highlighted concrete initiatives in support of a fairer, more sustainable, and more inclusive world. A key moment of ethical engagement during the festival, the Better World Fund Gala focused on pressing humanitarian and environmental causes. This year, the gala honored India, welcoming as guest of honor Mira Nair, the acclaimed Indian-American producer and filmmaker.
As part of the event, a charity auction was held, with proceeds donated to Salaam Baalak Trust, an Indian NGO that supports street children and child laborers in the Delhi NCR region.

At the 2025 Better World Fund Gala, held on May 20th at the prestigious Hôtel Carlton during the Cannes Film Festival, actor Kevin Spacey made a notable appearance. This event, supporting the NGO Salaam Baalak Trust, was an opportunity for Spacey to receive an honorary award for his impact in film and television.
